Brief description:

University of Guilan Awards Scholarship, provide opportunities for people from different  countries, particularly neighbors from  Iraq , Afghanistan, Pakistan,Turkey and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) of Russia (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, …) to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at the University of Guilan.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The scholarship benefits generally include: full tuition fees, Student Health Cover, Subsidized food, free transportation, dormitory, etc.

The scholarships are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, including any preparatory training.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to receive a Scholarship, applicants must:

a. be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencing the Scholarship

b. not be current serving military personnel

c. not be a citizen of Iran, hold permanent residency of Iran or  be applying for a visa to live in Iran permanently

d. be able to satisfy the admission requirements of the University of Guilan

e. Proficiency in Persian

Note: Evaluating the proficiency level of the applicants in Persian Language will be carried out in two ways:

A-    The level of those applicants who passed their last educational levels in Iran will be accepted whatever it will be.

B-     The proficiency level of other foreign applicants who do not pass their educational courses in Iran must be confirmed by one of the Official National Persian Language Institutes.
