Department of Food Sciences and Technology

The department began its activities in 2013. Now with 2 full-time faculty members, we offer an undergraduate program in Food Sciences and Technology. The department of Food Sciences and Technology, as a part of the faculty of Agriculture, revolves around the production, distribution and assessment of food products. Students graduating from the department will be leaders in the industry, experts who will go on contributing to the quality of agricultural products and improving the conditions of the farmers. Aside from being able to become great researchers, they can continue their higher education in other fields such as physics, chemistry and even biology.
