Caspian Journal of Environmental Sciences whose concessionaire is the University of Guilan has been the publisher of research articles in all fields of environmental sciences since 2001, as the official journal of the Association of State Universities of Caspian Sea Region Countries.

The journal's aim is to introduce new research achievements in the field of environmental sciences, provide reports on the research development and advanced experiences, strengthen academic exchanges, strengthen cooperation on science and technology, and participate in the development and advancement of environmental sciences and sustainable development.
