The Greco-Roman junior wrestling team won two gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals as the second place of the Asian Championships in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of Foad Seyed Rahmani, a Ph.D. student in sports physiology at the University of Guilan.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Wrestling Federation, the Asian Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships were held on June 19 and 20 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and at the end the Iranian team won the second title. It is worthwhile to mention that the World Junior Championships will be held 24 to 27 July 2022 hosted by Rome, Italy, and Foad Seyed Rahmani as the bodybuilding coach will be responsible for preparing the National Youth Wrestling Team of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this notable sporting event.
