The 17th National and the 2nd International Conferences of Biochemistry and Physics of Iran started in September 6th with the presence of university officials, researchers and professors and students of this field in the Hekmat amphitheater of University of Guilan in person and online.

Thermodynamic and kinetic properties of biomolecules, structural proteomics in biotechnology, structural and functional biochemistry, stability of proteins, biosensors, nano biophysics, physical biochemistry of pollutants, protein-ligand binding and drug targeting, modeling and simulation of biomolecules and physical biochemistry, computing and bioinformatics were among the subject of this conference.

In this conference, 15 invited speakers gave speeches, and 204 articles were accepted the secretariat of the conference, of which 11 articles were presented in the form of lectures and 193 articles presented in the form of posters. Also, participants from China, India, Pakistan and Germany were present in this event.

It is worth mentioning that the scientific secretary of this conference was Dr. Bahram Ghalami and the executive secretary was Dr. Mustafa Shourian, and this conference was held on the 15th and 16th of September 2022 at University of Guilan.
