Biography
Dr Amir Sahraroo is an assistant professor of Horticultural Genetics and Biotechnology at Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Guilan. He was born in 1979 in Dastjerd village, Estahban city, Fars province, Iran. Dr Sahraroo started his academic educations by Associate of Plant Production degree from Junior Agricultural College of Darab, University of Shiraz, and it continued by B.Sc. of Horticulture from Shahid Bahonar University, Kerman, Iran. He also obtained Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Molecular Genetics of Horticultural Crops from University of Tehran under the supervision of Prof. Mesbah Babalar and Dr. Mohammad Reza Fatahi Moghadam, and also Dr Mohammad Hosein Mirjalili from University of Shahid Behshti, Tehran, Iran. Dr Sahraroo was a visiting scientist (about 6 months) in Department of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Salamanca, Spain under supervision of Prof. Purificacion Corchete Sanchez. Since 2015, he began independent career at the Horticultural Sciences Department of the Agriculture Faculty at the University of Guilan as an academic staff.

Gene sequencing of rate-limiting enzymes of metabolic pathways
