Biography

Mohammad Reza Eghdami; (Called Reza).

 

I,ve been graduated from center of advance study in Anthropology in 2013 with a degree in Biological (Physical) Anthropology, as a University Grants Commission (UGC) fellow funded by Indian Government. I completed my senior thesis in the anthropological laboratory of the department of anthropology and center of advance study in geology, University of Pnajab, Chandigarh, India; focusing on archaeo-metric analyzing prehistoric stone tools collected from 10 localities, situated in Central India (Madhya Pradesh) across Narmada basin. Now I turned my attention to studying genetic investigations of human diversities and its development to understand important events in recent human evolution.  

 

Personal Information;

 

I am originally from Rasht, Guilan, Iran. For me is easy to adapt to any types of environments but I prefer to live in cold climates. When not busy with research, I like to read novel widely, listening to classic music, walking across the street with lots of restaurants and taste all the foods cooking in the restaurants. 

 

Lab proficiency:

 

* Handle and analyzing of all prehistoric materials by using Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) machine.


* Analyzing and preparation of Petrographic Thin Sections of stone materials.


* Microscopic use-wear analyzing of the Stone and Dent materials.


* Typology and classification of Prehistoric Stone tools.
