Biography
Ruhollah holds a PhD in Climatology from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. In general, his research interests are concerned with climate modeling, environment monitoring, and assessing impacts of climate variability and change on environmental systems with an emphasis on climate extremes as well as GIS and environmental modeling.
Prior to joining University of Guilan, Iran, Ruhollah spent 7 years with the National Cartographic Center of Iran, as a GIS analyst. He served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Physical Geography at the TMU from 2011 to 2013. As a visiting scholar Ruhollah was working with the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium, UVic, Canada from December 2012 to June 2013.
