Biography
Dr. Ahmadreza Shahpouri is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Guilan, appointed in 2024. His research program centers on sustainable agri-food systems, with a focus on production economics, market analysis, and the Blue Economy. His work examines agricultural value chains, consumer behavior, natural resource valuation, and the economic potential of coastal and marine tourism.
Notable contributions include his book, "The Market Structure of Organic Product Consumption," and scientific articles on coastal tourism economics. His current research is dedicated to designing sustainable agricultural supply systems and advancing integrated, marine-based economic development.
