Biography
Dr. Noroozi has 10 years of experience in bench scale research and chemical analysis with various analytical instruments in textile and environmental chemistry. His research interests include: processes for textile wastewater treatment such as electrochemical and adsorption by different adsorbents in single and multicomponent systems, modeling of adsorption systems (equilibrium and dynamics), extraction and use of biopolymers (chitin and chitosan) in production process of textiles and production of activated carbon, activated carbon fiber and nanofiber for controlling the quallity of water pollutants. At the University of Guilan, Dr Noroozi teaches graduate courses in the field of advanced topics in textile chemistry and principles of textile environmental problems. He also teaches undergraduate courses on textile wastewater treatment systems and physical chemistry of dye adsorption. Now he is head of textile engineering department at the university of Guilan.
