Biography

Born in 1983 in Guilan province, I countined my life in Qazvin where I entered "Exceptional Talents School" to get my diploma. Afterwards, I entered Sharif University of Technology to see myself among the most talented students in Iran. After recieving a MSc degree in Materials Science and Technology, I decided to continue my studies in the field of Nanoscience. During MSc and PhD period, I worked on the synthesis of nanomaterials through several methods including Sol-gel, Hydrothermal, Solvothermal, and specifically electrochemical deposition for sensing applications. In 2012, I joined ICES institute in Singapore for a sabbatical study under the supervision of Dr. Chen Luwei where I worked on preparation of anode materials for Li-ion battery. I have been also a distinguished teacher of Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC) since 2013. In the late 2015, I joined University of Guilan as a faculty of nanotechnology department. Currently, I am supervising master students along teaching in the nanotechnolgy department.

My research interests include:

• Nanomaterials for sustainable energy applications: Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), Oxygen evolution reaction (OER), Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), Li-ion batteries, Supercapacitors
• Nanostructured coatings by electrodeposition technique
• Electrochemical sensors using nanoelectrodes
• Synthesis of nanoparticles through chemical and electrochemical methods
• Molecular dynamics simulation of nanoscaled systems
