Biography
Dr. Mahdi Nouri graduated from the Textile engineering department at Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, IRAN. He developed a novel electro-conductive fiber and completed his Ph. D. thesis under the direction of Professor M. Haghighat KISH, Professor A. Entezami and Professor M. Edrisi.
Following completion of his Ph. D., He joined the Department of Textile Engineering at University of Guilan in 2001 as an assistant Professor. His current interests include the fabrication of new fibers, modification of fibers, electroactive polymers, biopolymers, electrospinning and nanofibers. For now he is involved in expanding fundamental understanding of electrospinning processes and also carried out studies on fiber morphology and molecular orientation.
